To spur achievement and support the smooth study of its students, UBAYA gives awards with certain criteria. The award is divided into non-scholarship awards and scholarships.

The Main Outstanding Student Award is given once a year to 1 student out of the total number of students. The Karya Widya Utama Award is given once a year to individual and group students who excel in sports and arts. The Student Sports Achievement Award is given once a year to student organizations that have carried out the best activities.

If the prospective recipients of the New Student Achievement Scholarship are selected from among new students with the best academic achievement from the results of the Entrance Screening Examination (USM), the candidates for the Curricular Achievement Scholarship are selected from students who have the highest academic achievement and are active in conducting academic activities in the semester of the academic year concerned. Meanwhile, the Activist Achievement Scholarship is given to students who have fairly good academic achievements and high achievements in extra-curricular activities in the semester concerned. Students who have national and international sports and artistic achievements in the semester of the academic year concerned have the opportunity to receive Sports & Arts Achievement Scholarships.

In addition, by relying on humanity and appreciation, UBAYA provides scholarships to the underprivileged and the children of university employees. Taking into account that their socio-economic conditions need to be supported, UBAYA students who have certain academic achievements can receive a Sympathy (Socio-Economic) Scholarship so that they can complete their studies in the semester concerned. UBAYA permanent employees' male and female students also receive Permanent Employee Scholarships.

In addition to the scholarships above, scholarships are available from the government, namely Supersemar Scholarships, Academic Achievement Improvement Scholarships, Student Study Scholarships, Riot Victims Scholarships and Student's Grant Scholarships. Students who are eligible to receive it are selected from those who have certain academic achievements and are supported by high extra-curricular activities. Other scholarships, which are independent in nature, come from community participation, such as Djarum Scholarship, Salim Foundation.
